The Miridae Mobile Nursery began in early 2020 with the intention of increasing California native plant access in the Greater Sacramento Region. When Covid-19 hit, it became apparent that the Mobile Nursery could provide other important features: outdoor and social-distant shopping. During a time when many people turned to their gardens for comfort and/or were missing human interaction, Miridae Mobile Nursery was able to fill in a much-needed community gap.

Although Miridae Mobile Nursery is now under new ownership and independent from the original company, it maintains similar goals. Through pop-ups we continue to provide California native plants to people from all garden skill levels and native plant knowledge. Additional offerings are educational workshops and talks related to California native plants, garden consultations, plant brokering, and plant order deliveries.
